ReferencesFollow these links to see what others have to say about the Braich Goch Bunkhouse and Inn. .....we hit the long descent to Corris and, after 12 hours in the saddle, were delighted by a warm welcome at the Braich Goch Bunkhouse. What more can you ask for than a drying room, bike store, cosy bunkroom and freshly poured pints..... ...in Corris was superb. For anyone thinking of doing some walking, biking or anything outdoors in and around Dolgellau and Machynlleth this place is great for relaxing afterwards, having a great pint, cooking...
The old braich goch showed us again why this is the best
hostel we've ever been to especially being a pub itself
...my 15 year old son, Nick, and myself. The hostel was great and Nick got to sleep in a bunk previously occupied by Prince William.
Theres been an extra warm welcome for the hikers,
bikers and canoeists staying at Braich Goch, an historic coaching inn
and bunkhouse at Corris in the Snowdonia National Park.
Association of British Members of the Swiss Alpine Club ....proved welcoming and comfortable. We had a six bedded bunk room with en-suite facilities and some areas such as the dining room had recently been refurbished. Again good real ale...
"Whilst talking about Corris, please note that the BRAICH GOCH BUNKHOUSE in Corris makes a wonderful centre for a weekend of outdoor activities as walking, climbing and getting on to rivers and lakes plus 'mountain biking'". |
